Supercapacitor is a new type of green energy storage device (activated carbon), which has the advantages of high efficiency, high current capacity, wide voltage range, wide temperature range, long service life, long working life, maintenance-free and easy maintenance, simple integration, bottom cost and so on. It has a broad prospect for development.
As the working voltage of supercapacitor monomer is not high, generally only 1V-4V, among which the common voltage specification of the monomer supercapacitor is generally 2.7V, and in practical application, the voltage of 16V, 48V, 54V, 75V, 125V or higher is often needed to meet the use of these devices. Most of these devices are wind power generation, automotive HEV, military starting power and micro grid equipment. In order to meet the requirements of these devices, the ultracapacitor module comes into being.
The ultracapacitor module is a new type of energy pack that combines several ultracapacitors in series with a voltage equalization and discharge voltage regulator system. The birth of the ultracapacitor module makes up for the defects of lead-acid battery and other energy storage devices. The operating temperature range of the ultracapacitor module is -40~65℃, which solves the problem that the efficiency of lead-acid battery is greatly reduced in cold outdoor conditions. In addition, the ultracapacitor module not only has all the characteristics of the ultracapacitor monomer, but also has the status monitoring function, which can better realize maintenance-free and easy maintenance.
